TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (TOEFL)

TOEFL is a standardized test to measure English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. TOEFL is a trademark of the Educational Testing Service (ETS), a private non-profit organization, which administers the test. The test is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional institutions around the world.

TOEFL is a comprehensive test that checks one’s fluency in English. The Reading section examines your ability to analyze academic material while the Listening section measures the ability to comprehend spoken English as used in an academic situation. Each takes around 60 to 90 minutes. The six tasks in the Speaking Test take around 20 minutes while the two tasks in the writing section have the duration of 50 minutes. The test requires the students to read, listen, and then speak in response to a question and our course has been planned accordingly.
